Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Managing Director and Program Manager to create a creative theme for camp. This includes camp-wide devotionals, age and gender specific devotionals, and other Christ-centered programs. 

• Responsible for developing each evening worship night that includes delivering a cross- culturally relevant message to all campers. 

• This role provides leadership to the summer worship team.

• Work alongside the Staff Care Team and Managing Director to provide encouragement and care to summer staff.

• Train and encourages staff members in speaking opportunities as camp allows. This includes training counselors in sharing their testimonies, cabin devotionals, and additional opportunities that camp provides. 

• Assist with staff training/orientation and debrief.

Qualifications: 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Deep biblical knowledge 

• Experience sharing faith to children, youth, and young adults

• Experience in managing and caring for staff

• Ability to work independently/self-manage

• Experience working cross-culturally

• Willing to relocate to Nairobi, Kenya, and serve for 1-2 months

Support Raising:

 All BlueSky ministry staff raise financial support to serve. The required amount will vary based on where the staff member is coming from and length of service. As an estimate, the required support amount for an international staff (those coming from outside of Kenya) is TBD, which covers traveling, living, and ministry costs. BlueSky staff will assist seasonal staff through the support raising process.
